Hi, I’m Jeff Acker. It’s been an incredible honour to serve as your Mayor.
Over the past four years, I’ve worked hard to listen, lead with integrity, and move Spruce Grove forward in real, tangible ways. From safer streets and better infrastructure to supporting local businesses and building a stronger sense of community — we’ve made meaningful progress, together. And with your support, I’m ready to keep that momentum going.
I’ve called Spruce Grove home my entire life. It’s where I grew up, where Jodie and I are raising our daughter Sophia, and where I’ve dedicated myself to building a stronger, more connected community.
Since first being elected in 2007, I’ve brought a deep love for this city to every role I’ve held. As Mayor, my approach has always been calm, thoughtful, and grounded in common sense — focused on listening, earning trust, and putting people first, because that’s what our community deserves.
From day one, I’ve worked to be the kind of leader who shows up — not just when the cameras are on, but in the everyday work that moves our city forward. That includes making real changes inside City Hall: renewing our focus on customer service, improving processes, and reducing barriers that get in the way of residents and businesses.
We’ve faced some big challenges — inflation, rapid growth, changing needs — but we’ve tackled them together with steady, community-focused leadership. And while I’m proud of how far we’ve come, I know there’s still more to do.
That’s why I’m running for re-election. Not to start over — but to keep building on what we’ve achieved. That means continuing to support responsible growth by building high-quality neighbourhoods with housing choices, services, and opportunities for every stage of life. It means keeping Spruce Grove a place where families can thrive, seniors can stay connected, and everyone has a chance to feel at home.
If you believe in practical, people-first leadership, I’d be honoured to have your support.
Let’s keep building a Spruce Grove we’re proud to call home — together.
